No problem man, I suck at drawing mechs (Honestly I'm not that good at concept art, I'm a novice artist in that form) I can come up with some pretty cool Ideas on photoshop and Illustrator though >.> but yea nothin like this.
i used to draw mechs and tanks, but i'll never be a pro at that kind of thing. i seemed to get a lot better at the tanks over time, for some reason i couldn't explain, never got better at doing mechs. in a weird twist, ever since i started playing minecraft, iv'e built tanks and mechs in my survival worlds by the dozen. all of them even include functional weapons.
Yeah that makes senses. Another thing that helped me a lot for getting the mech-industrial mind setting was having action figures or playing games like armored core, where you build the mech and split it in parts.
Does the title come from mecha and Spiderman, if so then that's hilarious.
Now the drawing, it deserves to be in my favorites, hell it deserves to be favorited over 300 times right now. I like how eveything is detailed, every limb on the mech is realistically drawn and shaded. The smoke and the exgausts placed correctly.
The background looks extraordinary too, the foggy sky, the ruins or technical landfill, the fence behind the mech looks really good too AND I can see the light post that almost look invisible.
This is fantastic... you see whenever I try to replicate something like this, never know where to start I feel I'm always using the wrong brushes and getting bogged down in colour early on. What kind of process do you go through to draw these? Do you have a tutorial anywhere? It'd be great if you could run me through a few pointers...
